This class series is designed to give expectant moms an exercise program that is tailored to their unique prenatal needs. These classes will help alleviate the discomfort that can come with pregnancy, physically and mentally prepare for labor and delivery, and give you a safe vocabulary of movement that can be done at home and immediately postpartum. Classes blend exercises from both Pilates and yoga, so you are stretched and strengthened, relaxed and focused, not only through movement, but also from breathing and meditation techniques. All stages of pregnancy and all levels of athletic ability are welcome. Each week will have a different theme: Balance, Support, Strength/Relaxation, and Heart Opening. These classes are fun, effective, and create a community of expectant mothers – your greatest support system as you enter into this journey through motherhood.
